There is a BABA Stock Forum on Stocktwits, where the members can post messages about BABA.

• The BABA stock forum has 350k members: BABA is one of the largest stock discussions on Stocktwits. Furthermore, their community has recently been averaging over 15,000 posts per day which is crazy high. The quality of the content being posted is not very high, however, the amount of posting will provide the community with something new to read.
• Daily message volume is 15,000: The BABA Stocktwits community is quite active when considering the overall size of the BABA Stocktwits forum and their post volume. Historically, their posting volume have varied between 5,000-10,000 messages per day, and they have seemed to be trending upwards over the past week or so.

The BABA Stocktwits community is a very large size, and their posting volume is more than sufficient for the community. Overall, I think this community can get very active when there is hype around their stock, especially when news and information is released about their stock. This has led me to rating the BABA Stocktwits chat a 9/10.

BABA Twitter:

The following data is taken from the Utradea Social Sentiment Dashboard, as there is no BABA forum on Twitter (just individual posts).

• BABA has 1,000 posts on Twitter in the past 72 hours: BABA is very frequently discussed ticker on Twitter especially over the past 72 hour. These 1,000 posts have managed to garner a total of 39M impressions, which is very impressive. Overall, there is enough daily posting on Twitter to keep the community engaged and the content fresh
• Big accounts/activity: Over the past 72 hours, there were a total of 100 large accounts (100k+ followers), and 9 very large accounts (500k+ followers) that posted on Twitter about BABA. These posters have been able to draw a lot of eyes on the BABA stock, which could be why we have seen an increase in volume. Furthermore, there were some individual tweets that garnered a large amount of impressions, some examples include this (4.6M impressions), this (1M impressions), and this (800k impressions).

Overall, the BABA mentions/community on Twitter is very large and very active. I find the posts on Twitter are of higher quality than the BABA Stocktwits community posts. This has led me to rating the BABA Twitter a 9/10.

The BABA community (r/BABA) on Reddit discusses news, events, and memes pertaining to the BABA subreddit.

• The BABA community consists of 5,300 members: The BABA subreddit is a medium sized stock subreddit. Furthermore, they seem to be quite active with 101 members online, which helps make up for their subreddit being a somewhat small size. This activity might be inflated due to their stock rallying 25%+.
• There are currently 101 active users: Considering the size of their subreddit (and the time I am making this post), having 101 active users is quite good. Furthermore, they average about 25 posts per day. This level of posting is okay and allows for some new/fresh content to be consumed by their community.

There is a fair bit to be improved upon in their reddit community, which has led me to rating the BABA Reddit community a 7.5/10

Summary of BABA Stock and Community:

Overall, I would rate the BABA online community an 8.5/10. This is due to the fact that their Stocktwits and Twitter communities are so good, but their Reddit community has room to improve. I think that the level of posting and the quality of content can help the BABA online community be up to date and informed about what is going on with the BABA stock.
