STRN Recent News: STRN recently announced a securities and warrants purchase agreement with institutional investors, worth $21.7M. Considering their market cap it roughly $80M, this is a pretty large offering. This offering was announced on December 8th 2021, however, I believe that this had a lagged effect (stock was even on the 8th, but fell 7% on the 9th) due to the fact that the market was up big on the 8th, and fell on the 9th. All said and done, I think this reaction was “warranted” (see what I did there?), and if anything I think it was an underreaction. STRN Social Media Overview: STRN Reddit: There is actually no community on Reddit strictly for $STRN, however, there are some posts that mention their ticker. STRN Stocktwits: There is a STRN Stock Forum on Stocktwits, where the members can post messages about STRN. The STRN stock forum has 3k members: STRN is a small stock discussion on Stocktwits. Furthermore, there are approximately 1,000+ average daily posts. Considering their size, this level of posting is quite normal and there are just enough messages to keep the content somewhat fresh (although it is hard to find new content sometimes). Like many of the other discussions on Stocktwits, the quality of the STRN posts is typically low, however, the STRN StockTwits community has higher quality posts than most other communities I have come across. Daily message volume is 1,000: The STRN Stocktwits community is relatively active when considering the overall size of the STRN Stocktwits forum and their post volume. Historically, their posting volume have varied between 500-2,000 messages per day, and they have seemed to be trending upwards over the past week or so. Overall, the STRN Stocktwits community is small, however they are usually active. Overall, I think this is a new community that has a lot of room to grow, and currently there is not too much bad that I have to say about them. This has led me to rating the STRN Stocktwits chat an 8/10. STRN Twitter: The following data is taken from the Utradea Social Sentiment Dashboard, as there is no STRN forum on Twitter (just individual posts). STRN has 419 posts on Twitter in the past 24 hours: STRN is a pretty highly discussed ticker on Twitter due to their small posting volumes everywhere else, and the fact that they have only been publicly trading for 1 month. Surprisingly, these posts have garnered a total of 2.4M impressions, which is very impressive. Overall, there are enough daily posts on Twitter mentioning STRN that investors will have a continuous feed of new/relevant information. Big accounts/activity: Over the past 24 hours, there were a total of 3 large accounts (100k+ followers), and 3 very large accounts (500k+ followers) that posted on Twitter about STRN. These large accounts have driven a lot of the traffic to STRN posts, and they are starting to develop an audience/community around STRN, which is fantastic news for their stock. Furthermore, there were some individual tweets that garnered a large amount of impressions, some examples include this (600k impressions), this (61k impressions), and this (22k impressions). Overall, the STRN mentions/community on Twitter is very new, however, the community is very large and active for being such a new stock/community. Furthermore, there are large accounts that posts about STRN, which can draw new eyes to the stock. I find the posts on Twitter about STRN to have more news about the stock, which is good. This has led me to rating the STRN Twitter a 9/10. Summary of STRN Stock and Community: The STRN subreddit is nonexistent, which is not favourable. However, the STRN Stocktwits community is quite active, and the STRN Twitter community is very active and has high quality posts. This helps to make up for the lack of a community on Reddit. Overall, I would rate the STRN online community an 8.5/10.
