Twitter is Starting to Take Notice of the CENN Stock

As we have seen over the past couple of years, there were a good handful of "Social Sentiment Stocks" like GME and AMC that skyrocketed based almost solely off of social sentiment. As a result of this, many people have started to pay attention to the social sentiment behind stocks.

As you can see, (aside from the likes) the social sentiment in the CENN Stocktwits community is relatively unchanged. CENN has experienced a small decrease in both their posting volumes and impressions within the CENN Stocktwits community. This declining social sentiment is not great to see, especially since yesterday was a Sunday (markets were closed).

Huge Increase in CENN Twitter Sentiment

• 1,370 Likes (up 25.57% day over day)
• 119.96k Impressions (up 871.41% day over day)

Overall, it is very weird to see such a drastic difference in CENN's social sentiment between the two communities. The CENN Twitter community has experienced very large increases in both their number of tweets as well as their impressions, however, the growth in the number of likes is more comparable to that of the CENN Stocktwits community. This is very important as posting and impressions are the two most influential factors in a stock's social sentiment. Again, this large increase is weird, so I am going to do a little bit of digging to hopefully find an explanation.

This morning between 0:30 and 1:00 am (EST) there was a surge in posting volume in the CENN Twitter community, which is rather unusual. During this time there were 26 posts which represent 25% of their total posting volumes. By doing some digging, I think I found out why this was. Around this time, there were a bunch of posts made about CENN that were the exact same but made from different accounts. These posts were like this, tagging a bunch of people, using hashtags, and linking a youtube video to them. These accounts could be bots, however, this still wouldn't explain the increase in impressions.

About 1/3 of CENN's impressions on Twitter were fetched by 2 large accounts with a combined following of 36k. These tweets can be seen here and here
