Using Utradea's Social Sentiment Scanner to predict a $PG move.

$PG – Procter & Gamble Social Sentiment Analysis: $PG - Proctor&Gamble is a blue-chip stock that I would not typically associate with “hype” or “Social Media”, however the Utradea Social Sentiment Dashboard is showing otherwise. Recently, PG has been gaining social traction, however, I am most interested in their spike in social sentiment over the past 24 hours. $PG Twitter Sentiment: Over the past 72 hours, the Utradea Social Sentiment Dashboard is showing that $PG is picking up social sentiment. I was able to depict this by looking at their changes in posts, likes, and impressions. Doing this I found their post volume increased by 127% over the past 3 days, reaching 282 posts, and ranking 50th for largest change in post volume. Next I looked at their changes in likes which illustrated a 380% increase over the past 3 days, topping 41k likes, and becoming the 116th fastest growing ticker in terms of likes. Lastly, I observed their change in impressions over the past 3 days to be 162%, topping 1.7M impressions, and becoming the 43rd fastest growing stock on Twitter by impressions. All of this is nice, however the thing I am most excited about is their 24 hr Social Sentiment increase on Twitter. Over the past 24 hours, $PG’s post volume increased by 213%, reaching 145 posts today alone, and was the 13th fastest growing ticker on Twitter based on post volume. Next, I noticed that their 24 hr change in likes topped 220%, totalling 3.8k likes, and becoming the 147th fastest growing ticker based on like. Lastly, and most importantly, their impressions grew by 220%, becoming the 29th fastest growing ticker in terms of impressions with almost 1M today. Lastly, here is one tweet that drove over 100,000 impressions for $PG on Twitter, in which they state they are bullish as P&G crossed all-time highs. $PG StockTwits Sentiment: Over the past 3 days, the Utradea Social Sentiment Dashboard is showing that $PG is picking up social sentiment. The $PG post volume increased by 127% over the past 3 days, reaching 47 posts, and ranking 46th for largest change in post volume. Additionally, I observed the change in impressions over the past 3 days to be 148%, topping 330k impressions, and becoming the 54th fastest growing stock on Twitter by impressions. However, over the past 24 hours, $PG’s post volume increased by 463%, reaching 37 posts, and was the 7th fastest growing ticker on StockTwits based on posts. Also, I found that their impressions grew by 212%, becoming the 36th fastest growing ticker in terms of impressions with almost 195k today. Overall Thoughts: $PG stock has been experiencing a recent surge in social sentiment that I was able to find on the Utradea Social Sentiment Dashboard. The most interesting thing about this surge is the fact that most of the growth occurred in the past 24 hours, and most of this came after 4pm. Due to this, I think it is possible that we may see $PG move a bit in the coming days. However, the only problem with a blue-chip having increased social sentiment is how hard it will be to move the stock. Tomorrow I will look for unusual volume to start the day and evaluate this again tomorrow morning before deciding to enter or not.
