Gap Inc, the global apparel parent company of Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy, has just announced a 10-year partnership with Kanye West. Starting early 2021, his Yeezy Gap line will be sold at Gap stores with the aim of creating modern looks for men, women, and children at accessible price points.
Mr. West's retail line is projected to bring in $1 billion in annual sales. This is not too far off from the $1.3 billion in sales yielded from the Yeezy x Adidas line in 2019.
GPS stock prices soared 42% Friday morning, after the announcement of the collaboration.
